Destination: Lake of the Ozarks

Coming from St Louis:
1. if your coming from North or West St Louis County, you will probably want to come out of St Louis on Hwy 70 West, and then make a left and head South/West on Hwy 54, all the way into Osage Beach, then follow directions in section 3 to Bluff Drive
2. if your coming from South County, take 44 West, watch for Lake Ozark sign (and Hwy 7 Richland sign) about 30 miles West of Rolla, make a right and take 7 into Richland. You then have the option of:
  1. taking 7 thru Richland into Camdenton and making a right on 54 East or
  2. taking a right on Hwy A in Richland, bypassing Camdenton, a then make right onto 54 when Hwy A dead ends into it. then follow directions in section 4 to Bluff Drive.
Coming from Kansas City:
1. Unless you are on the East side of KC, I recommend taking 29/71 South out of KC, then make a left on Hwy 7 at Harrison MO, take 7 into Clinton and then go South on 13 to Collins, and make a left onto Hwy 54 E. Stay on 54 E and follow directions in section 4 to Bluff Drive.
2. from the East Side of KC, heading East on Hwy 70, there are a couple different ways you can jump down from 70 onto Hwy 50, and then Hwy 52. Probably the best is 65 South between 70 and 50, and then 135 between 50 and 52, although 135 is a bit curvy, and may not be fun in bad weather. So, from Hwy 70 Eastbound, that would be right on 65 South to Sedalia, then left on 50 East to 135, then right on 135 South to stover, then left on 52 East into eldon, then right on 54 West/south into Osage Beach, and follow directions in section 3 to Bluff Drive.
Finding Bluff Drive as you come into Osage Beach from the East/north:

You will begin hitting stop lights on Hwy 54, the 5th stop light is Bluff Road, also labeled at 54-22 on road signs (and on www.mapquest.com mistakenly labeled as Osage Trafficway). Landmarks you will see before hitting Bluff Rd are McDonalds and Burger King. You can cut thru the BK parking lot to avoid traffic at the light, or make a right at the light on Bluff Rd/ 54-22. Then follow directions in Section 5
Finding Bluff Drive as you come into Osage Beach from the West/south:

You will hit 3 stoplights as you come into Osage Beach, and then go another 4 miles with no stoplights and cross the Grand Glaize bridge over the lake. As you approach the 3rd stop light (on the East/north side of bridge) you come up a hill and see walmart on your right and then O Reilly Auto Parts on your left. Make a left onto Bluff Dr/ 54-22 in front of the O Reillys. Follow Direction in Section 5.
Now that you are on Bluff Rd, keep going past the Oreilly and Burger King, you will also pass a large radio and cell phone tower, and a fire station. When you hit your first stop sign, make a right (staying on Bluff Drive), and then make the 3rd left on gwen. The sign which says gwen is hard to see until you turn onto gwen, so watch for the dead end sign on the left. 4418 gwen is the 2nd house on the left, and has creme colored siding.
